One of the best parts of staying at an Occidental Vacation Club resort is the excursions our owners can take off-property.  Take for example, Reef Explorer, an afternoon trip that lets you experience a bit of everything in the warm waters of the Caribbean.

The Gordons from San Diego did just that.  Here’s what they said:

“From the moment we were picked up at the resort (right on time) to when we got home with new friends we had made, the afternoon was like a mini cruise… filled with a sampler of activities.  A short boat ride to a floating dock at the reef took us to our locale where we experienced snorkeling, swimming with sharks (they told us their teeth had been removed!) and even holding a sting ray. 

Not only that, but we kayaked around the reef, floated on a water mattress and just generally enjoyed the refreshing breezes and refreshing fruit drinks blended up by the crew. 

Our mini vacation away from our already wonderful resort vacation concluded with a massage.  It was so restful we needed a siesta before enjoying our dinner back at Occidental Punta Cana!”
